Join to apply for the Lounge Manager (Global Sporting Event) - Italian/English Speaking role at The iLUKA CollectiveThe Lounge Manager is responsible for working closely with the hotel, restaurant and venues in order to manage the programme delivery alongside the Programme Manager. This is a contracts role from the 16th to the 23rd of Feb 2026. We are only able to consider candidates based in Milan.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop a clear understanding of the daily programme schedule and contentBuild strong working relationships with the venue staff to ensure a solid understanding of iLUKA’ s requirementsSupport the Manager, F&B and Lounge in managing the hospitality team onsite and all elements of F&B within the programmeWork collaboratively with the Manager, F&B and Lounge and iLUKA’ s Overlay Team to ensure all hospitality spaces are presented immaculately at all timesDevelop event running schedules with the Manager, F&B and Lounge for all relevant venuesDesign and manage effective people-flow systems at each venue with the Manager, F&B and LoungeReview and understand all F&B procedures for dealing with all possible circumstances, including additional guests, changes to table plans and schedule changesLiaise with all relevant venue teams and work with the Manager, F&B and Lounge to manage on site quality control of all F&B elements, ensuring guests receive a high level of service at all timesLiaise with venue teams to ensure all relevant Health & Safety policies are implemented and adhered toLiaise with operational teams to develop communications plans and procedures for advancing and hosting/staffing at each venueLiaise with Guest Communications Team to ensure each lounge, venue & restaurant is prepared for guest numbers and any special requirementsDaily reconciliation of guest attendance at each venueThis is not an exhaustive list, and all team members will be expected to contribute to any other aspects of the business, as necessary.Skills, Knowledge and ExpertiseFluent in English and ItalianExcellent organisational skillsQuality service orientated with a “Can Do” attitudePrevious experience of Event HospitalityStrong time management skills with ability to meet strict deadlinesExcellent client and supplier liaison skillsMethodical, accurate and an eye for detailAdvanced computer skills especially in Excel and PowerPointAbility to multi-task and meet strict deadlinesFlexible approach to working hours and ability to adapt to a dynamic environmentHigh Level understanding of what constitutes excellent customer serviceAble to build rapport at all levelsProactive, positive approach to all tasks and a high degree of reliabilityAbility to work in a calm, professional mannerAttributesHigh energy, comfortable working potentially long hours in a demanding but rewarding and friendly environmentWilling to roll sleeves up and get involvedPassionate about sport, hospitality and deliveryAble to work in a calm, kind and professional manner in a pressured environmentAbility to prioritise a demanding workloadSeniority levelNot ApplicableEmployment typeContractJob functionOther and Project ManagementIndustriesSpectator SportsEvents ServicesHospitality#J-18808-Ljbffr
