Sign up to get notified when the right vacancy comes along.About the role We are looking for a Business Development Manager based in Firenze, Toscana.This is a rare opportunity to become a founding and important member of a growing, well-funded company. You'll collaborate with Italy's most premium and regarded restaurants.As a member of the regional sales team, you will report to the Sales Lead and your role will focus on developing new relationships with restaurants and stores.What you’ll be doing Map, prospect, pitch and close new restaurants across your region in an organized fashion, acting as an area-level expert knowing up-and-coming restaurants and those most sought by customers.Support partners in joining Deliveroo, providing the best experience to them.Communicate (through physical visits, email, calls, or social media) with restaurants to demonstrate Deliveroo technology.Help restaurant owners/managers overcome any barriers or hesitations.Attend restaurant and food meet‑ups.Requirements Comfortable with targeting new business and with sales experience.Confidence and experience dealing with partners/customers face‑to‑face, by phone or email.Experience demonstrating product and industry knowledge to clients.Comfortable with negotiations.Knowledge of the restaurant industry is a significant plus.Tenacity.Why Deliveroo Our mission is to transform the way you shop and eat, bringing the neighbourhood to your door by connecting consumers, restaurants, shops and riders.
