Working at frog means being empowered to meet the moment, and Make Your Mark on every project, in your studio, your community—and the world at large.What will you be doing?As Design Lead , you will drive strategic initiatives at the intersection of design and innovation, partnering with clients to envision and deliver experiences that create measurable business impact.You will own the entire product development lifecycle: identifying opportunities, shaping concepts, and ensuring solutions meet both user needs and client objectives.You will take primary responsibility for project execution, guiding multidisciplinary teams in day‑to‑day engagements, while contributing hands‑on to key deliverables with quality and resilience, and building strong client relationships that enable follow‑on work.You will collaborate to expand our business by crafting proposals and presenting to prospective clients, working closely with Account Teams and discipline leaders.You will help advance and strengthen the studio’s design capabilities, methodologies, teams and skills, while driving thought leadership within your discipline and fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.By contributing to both client success and internal excellence, you will reinforce frog’s reputation as a leader in product innovation and support the continuous growth of our people and practices.We want you to have :7+ years of professional human centred design ‘thinking & doing’ consulting experience with specific experience in one or more areas of the product development lifecycle, for example, as a Visual Designer, Interaction Designer, Product Designer or Experience DesignerAn outstanding track record as a design leader and contributor for experience strategies, digital products and services, and design systems that delight customers/users and achieve business resultsSolid skills in problem‑solving, critical thinking, and stakeholder management, with a collaborative and proactive attitude towards cross‑functional teamwork.Proficiency with the latest AI‑driven design tools and techniques, and emerging interaction models and UX patterns.Proficiency with contemporary research, design, and prototyping tools and methodsProficiency with the latest Digital Products and Design Language Systems, techniques, tools, and maintenance methodsExperience in leading design teams in integrated design and development setups with a good understanding of Agile methodology.Solid understanding of accessibility standards, best practices, tools, and methods.Affinity with frog’s values and a passion for creating products that meet people's functional and emotional needsHigh peer, end‑user, or client satisfaction with the work products that you createdStrong leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to guide high‑performing teams using persuasion and influence (rather than command and control)Strong presentation and storytelling skillsWillingness to travel for research, project delivery, and client meetingsBusiness level ability in English (Italian language not required)It would be a bonus if you had :A university degree in a relevant design, business, technology, or social science disciplineExperience working in a variety of organisations (start‑up, corporate, agency/consultancy)Academic, professional, or life experience from outside the design field that enriches your perspective as a designerPublished thought leadership, with a track record of presenting and teaching in public forums and a social media presence.A certification in accessibility, diversity and inclusion, or a related fieldA second language (and every additional language is a plus)Application InstructionsAs part of your application, please include a link or PDF of your portfolio of recent work, highlighting your abilities and experience relevant to the role, with specific examples of how you work, think, collaborate, and contribute to great design outcomes. frog is a global business with teams working from every corner of the world.
