The Role We are seeking a Solution Enablement Director (Global Practice Director) to focus on the areas of MES, Data Works, and Sustainability. Major responsibilities include working closely with our Enterprise Solution Consultants (ESCs) and/or Regional Solution Consultants (SCs) providing solution and service execution plans, including large, combined solutions. The role also involves collaboration with Professional Services, Product Management, and the Partner Group. This person will confirm the scope, deliverables, and timeline of all proposals in the responsibility areas and be accountable for their approval in SalesForce. Your Impact Primarily work with our AspenTech MES and Data Works technology, including presentation layers like Aspen Inmation and A1PE. Gather data/document and summarize client requirements to address business process issues that AspenTech solutions will address. Design integrated solutions that benefit the customer on process issues while being ready for scalability and sustainability. Assist the sales organization and Services management team in preparing and delivering complex bids and proposals to clients. Support business growth in both License and Services Bookings at all times. Support project teams, including our partners, to ensure projects achieve stated milestones, delivery dates, and financial goals. Maintain and extend client satisfaction levels and develop opportunities for additional AspenTech solutions. Work cooperatively with the AspenTech extended team in Sales, Support, CSM, R&D, and Partners to ensure successful project delivery and completion. Be accountable for the technical assessment of all DSP applicants and internal or external deployment resources for services projects. Be part of the core team for new product launches within the related area of expertise. Internal travel of expected two trips per quarter is required. What You'll Need Bachelor's degree in a related area
or
15+ years of experience in optimization, data analysis, system integration, and interfacing, from DCS to ERP systems, including User Interfaces and presentation layers. Background with MES concepts and technology is required. Understanding of data integration, data lake, data warehouse technology, networking, cybersecurity, and data analytics is required. Understanding of low-level data acquisition systems is required. Fast learner with a desire/motivation to learn cutting-edge new technologies. A team player with the ability to relate to customers and maintain good working relationships. Good spoken and written skills in English. Experience with AspenTech technologies is a definite plus. Experience with other AspenTech technologies (APC, SCM, or GDOT) to ensure data integration and KPI presentation is a definite plus but not a requirement. Other languages are a definite asset but not a requirement. Ability to obtain a corporate AMEX and travel globally. #LI-WJ1
