OverviewJoin to apply for the Chief Accountant - Italy (Hybrid) role at AvonAs Chief Accountant for Italy, you’ll be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in line with both statutory and corporate requirements. You’ll lead the Record to Report (R2R) process, oversee month-end close, and ensure compliance with local tax and audit obligations. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external partners to maintain high standards of financial control, support audits, and provide insights that help drive business decisions. Your role will be key in ensuring the integrity of financial statements and building confidence across the business.ResponsibilitiesManaging monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting for ItalyOverseeing statutory filings, tax submissions, and audit processesLeading the reconciliation of US GAAP and local statutory accountsEnsuring compliance with SOX controls and internal proceduresCollaborating with global teams, shared services, and external advisorsMonitoring local regulatory changes and implementing updates to processesSupporting financial planning and analysis with variance commentary and forecastsDriving continuous improvement in accounting processes and systemsQualificationsExperience in finance or accounting, ideally within a multinational environmentA degree in Finance or Accounting, with a professional accounting qualification preferredStrong knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP standardsExperience with accounting systems and financial reporting toolsExcellent organisational skills and the ability to meet tight deadlinesStrong communication skills in English (written and spoken)A proactive mindset, with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvementAbility to work effectively in a multicultural, cross-functional environmentEmployment detailsSeniority level : AssociateEmployment type : Full-timeJob function : FinanceIndustries : Personal Care Product ManufacturingJ-18808-Ljbffr#J-18808-Ljbffr
