Associate Project Manager – Renewables & Power – RINA Office located in Genoa, Rome, Lecce, and Rozzano. Mission The Associate Project Manager supports project execution and assists in coordination of tasks to ensure successful delivery, working under the guidance of a Project Manager. Key Accountabilities Project Support Assist in the creation and maintenance of project plans, defining tasks, timelines, and milestones. Update project trackers and reports to keep stakeholders informed. Client Interaction Act as a supporting point of contact, providing updates as directed. Address client queries promptly and facilitate escalation as needed. Participate in client meetings, taking notes and following up on actions. Documentation Prepare and organize project documentation, ensuring accuracy and accessibility. Track document versions and maintain compliance with standards. Assist in creating reports and summaries for internal and client use. Scheduling and Coordination Coordinate meetings, arrange logistics, and distribute agendas and minutes. Track milestones and send reminders to ensure timely completion. Maintain and update the project calendar. Budget and Risk Monitoring Support budget tracking by compiling expense reports. Identify potential budget variances and flag them. Monitor risks, document in logs, and report findings. Quality Assurance Assist in conducting quality checks on deliverables. Document and report any quality issues or deviations. Provide feedback on process improvement. Education Master’s Degree in Energy Engineering or Management Engineering. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (General). Qualifications 1–2 years of experience in an engineering or technical role within a project setting, ideally with cross‑functional teamwork. Experience in the renewables sector is strongly appreciated. Professional project management certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, ScrumMaster) are desirable. Basic understanding of project management principles: lifecycle, scheduling, budgeting, risk management. Basic knowledge of Agile or Lean methodologies is advantageous. Proven ability to work effectively in team settings. Experience in tracking progress, managing schedules, and coordinating small project components. Basic data analysis skills to support reporting and interpretation of KPIs. Fluency in Italian and English is mandatory. Competencies Have a big picture perspective and reinterpret situations.
