Select how often (in days) to receive an alert: Create AlertAs Customer Development Specialist, you will act as the main point of contact within Trade Marketing concerning Dutch retail customers and work in close cooperation with Sales and Marketing to provide the development of the Company Plan. Additionally, you will perform ad-hoc analyses to share both internally & externally, support Sales in the preparation of offers to customers and maintain track of the actual in-store implementation of agreed activities with strong focus on the shopper experience.Main Responsibilities: At the customer level, you will identify business opportunities for growth, work on performance analysis, monitoring, and tracking (Nielsen, retailer data, YouGov) with the aim of understanding key performance drivers, risks, challenges, and opportunities. You will do so by leveraging on strong consumer insights and shopper market data, shared by Category team. It will be crucial to provide compelling selling stories, key for customer engagement in the main strategic areas (i.e. Plano recommendation per category, 2nd placement semi & permanent, check out, test & learns…).You will monitor the development of the Customer Plan & Business Reviews, pilot the tracking, overview of activation plan, and enable all information and tools needed to implement the plan. Additionally, you will follow up on activities, monitor and analyze their effectiveness, and manage offers in line with the agreed customer centric plan, partnering with the Sales Team. It will be key to continuously monitor and highlight critical performance drivers, risks / challenges and opportunities at customer level (e.g. Nielsen (Sellout) & Sell-in data (KAM) and customer data, ad-hoc studies and analysis). This, by setting up reports and presentations providing key insights and recommendations.Further, you will translate brand plans into actionable channel and customer initiatives, such as customer specific assortment advice, promotion and activation plans, tailored to retailer needs. Supporting Key Account Managers, you will provide compelling trade stories and argumentation to facilitate joint business planning (Customer plan, Business Reviews, Seasonal meetings...), while monitoring the performance of implemented plans at both channel and account levels.Promotional management for your channel and customer, from planning to execution: proposal simulation – offer – customer confirmation - budget & execution evidence for audit purposes. Nego support of KAM by developing TM counterparts.Regarding in-store activity, you will ensure the successful implementation and execution of the marketing strategy at the point of sale, such as promotions, placement, POS materials, sampling, retail media and trials, by providing the Sales team with the best tools and resources.About You: The ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree in sales, marketing, or another relevant field, and brings 1-2 years of experience in sales or trade marketing roles, ideally with different channels & clients (retail, hard discount, non-food retail, e-commerce, out of home). A strong understanding of FMCG dynamics is crucial, along with knowledge of the Dutch food retail environment.Analytical skills from customer performance to financial dimensions are essential, as well as familiarity with data management (Nielsen, YouGov, etc.).You should be a skilled communicator, strong in social interactions, and fluent in Dutch and English.Careers with caring built in - discover our benefits here .About Ferrero: Ferrero began its journey in the small town of Alba in Piedmont, Italy, in 1946.
