Park Hyatt Milan is seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Operations to lead hotel operations and ensure the highest standards of service excellence, financial performance, and guest satisfaction.Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Director of Operations oversees all key operational areas, including the Rooms Division, Food & Beverage, and Spa. The role plays a critical part in driving strategic initiatives, operational efficiency, and team engagement, and acts as the General Manager’s deputy when required.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and coordinate the daily operations of Rooms, Food & Beverage, Spa, and back‑of‑house areasEnsure exceptional standards of service, quality, hygiene, and safety throughout the hotelCollaborate closely with Department Heads to implement operational strategies and objectivesContribute to the hotel’s strategic and business planning and define annual revenue targetsOversee budgeting, cost control, payroll management, and productivity improvement initiativesIdentify and develop opportunities to drive revenue growth and operational performanceMonitor guest satisfaction and implement continuous improvement actionsSupport recruitment, performance management, training, and talent development activitiesFoster a positive, inclusive, and results‑driven workplace cultureEnsure full compliance with company policies, brand standards, and legal requirementsQualificationsProven experience in a senior operational leadership role (Director of Operations or equivalent) within luxury hospitalityStrong expertise in both Rooms and Food & Beverage operationsDemonstrated leadership skills with a hands‑on, strategic mindsetSolid financial acumen and experience managing budgets and KPIsExcellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skillsStrong problem‑solving ability and commitment to continuous improvementFluency in English is required; knowledge of Italian is an advantageHyatt offers a great range of benefits, including:12 free nights per year of service across Hyatt Hotels worldwideEmployee and Friends & Family rates across Hyatt Hotels worldwideDry cleaning of business clothesComplimentary meals on dutyContinuous Learning & Development opportunitiesStaff celebrationsSettling the costs of urban public transport - ATM MilanoPark Hyatt Milan, Milan, Italy#J-18808-Ljbffr
