Commercial Chef – Away From Home Kraft Heinz is hiring a Commercial Chef for the Away From Home department. This role is part of the local Sales team and is focused on supporting food service channels such as hotels, FSR, QSR, pubs, catering, and institutional accounts. The position is key to Kraft Heinz's global growth strategy as more consumers eat out and adopt food service trends. You will be responsible for culinary activities supporting the sales team, including building relationships with food professionals, category managers, and head chefs of National Accounts. This position reports directly to the Trade Marketing Manager Away from Home. Targets and Priorities Work with the commercial team to build strong relationships with our most important customers, distributors & prospects and deliver annual sales targets. Understand and share culinary market trends and insights to coordinate our business strategy. Prepare and execute internal and external culinary sessions to present new products, demonstrate trends, and contribute menu and recipe ideas. Coordinate and lead customer visits at outlet level with the foodservice team. Coordinate with marketing team to align on culinary strategy, portfolio needs, and product improvement based on business objectives. Develop menus and recipes for our key customers and marketing materials. Organize culinary quarterly training sessions for our Away From Home sales team focusing on product and portfolio knowledge, as well as applications of our products. Interact directly with select customer accounts. Profile The ideal candidate balances culinary and commercial skills, shares commercial objectives with channel managers, understands the technical challenges of our key customers, and uses communication to propose insights that create business wins. We look for a representative, expressive, and commercially driven chef with ambition and strong communication skills. Qualifications Hard Skills At least 2 years of work experience as a Chef, Culinary manager, NPD manager or similar commercial position. Strong communication and collaborative skills, with experience presenting and convincing in project teams. Culinary or Food Science education background in the food market. Knowledge of Away From Home channels (hotels, FSR, QSR, pubs, catering, industry, institutional). Knowledge and appreciation of our Away From Home portfolio categories (cold & warm sauces, beans). Ability to work under pressure, flexibility, and rapid adaptation to new situations. Available full time. Ideally has a broad local network in Away From Home. Able to travel up to 70% of the time.
