Part of Marriott International, Casa Brera, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Milan is currently recruiting a Chef de partie – Staff Canteen. Reporting to the Executive Sous Chef, the role will be responsible for preparing and serving daily meals for hotel employees in a clean, safe, and welcoming environment, ensuring the staff dining area meets the highest standards of hygiene and quality. This is a full-time position, 5 days a week with 2 days off. The starting date is estimated in December. Located near the iconic Teatro alla Scala, Casa Brera is an authentic expression of Milan’s evocative spirit. The hotel features 101 guestrooms and 15 suites, including the refined Milanese Suite. Guests can enjoy a rare sky bar and restaurant, Etereo, where a rooftop pool and panoramic views meet exceptional gastronomy. What You’ll Do Collaborate with the chef in selecting and planning the weekly menu for the staff canteen, ensuring variety, nutritional balance, and meeting the needs of the staff. Prepare and cook meals according to the established menu, ensuring quality and taste. Maintain cleanliness and order in the canteen area, including tables, kitchen surfaces, and equipment. Ensure proper storage and rotation of food items. Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure consistent food quality and availability. Comply with HACCP and internal hygiene standards. Assist with general cleaning duties as needed. What You’ll Need Previous experience in similar roles (staff canteen, catering services, industrial kitchen). Good understanding of food hygiene and safety standards. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexible with working hours (including weekends and holidays).
