This role bridges deep technical expertise in power stability and grid utilities, including hybrid solutions such as Synchro Condensers, STATCOM and Battery systems, with proactive customer engagement to promote our cutting-edge solutions effectively.The Senior Technical Sales Manager will report to the Sales Leader of the Power Stability & Grid Utilities segment.Location: Italy or at any GEV Italian site locations (Florence, Milan, Sesto San Giovanni, Noventa di Piave) / Flexible / HybridKey ResponsibilitiesCustomer Engagement & Support: Collaborate closely with Business Developers in customer meetings to present and promote our Power Stability, Grid Utilities and Flexibility solutions with emphasis on hybrid solutions (Synchro Condensers, STATCOM, Battery systems).Provide dedicated on-the-ground technical support for customers in Italy, ensuring responsiveness to regional requirements and challenges.Use your technical knowledge to understand, analyze and clarify customer requirements and challenges.Guide customers in defining their needs accurately to ensure alignment with our solution capabilities.Technical Solution Design Support: Support Application Engineers by providing in-depth technical insights during the proposal and quotation phases, particularly in hybrid solution development.Assist in shaping customized technical solutions, including Synchro Condensers, STATCOM and Battery systems, that meet customer expectations and project requirements.Ensure solutions comply with regional standards and customer-specific needs, especially for projects within Italy.Market & Product Advocacy: Stay updated on grid stability, power electronics and rotating machinery trends in the SEMEA region.Represent our technical expertise in industry events, workshops and seminars alongside the sales team.Collaborate with internal engineering and product teams to align solution roadmaps with market demands.Safety, Quality & Customer Satisfaction: Ensure all interactions and technical recommendations prioritize safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.Provide feedback from the field to internal teams for continuous improvement.QualificationsMasters degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Energy Engineering or related fields.Strong technical knowledge of:Rotating machines (generators, motors)Power electronics (inverters, converters)Grid systems and power stability solutionsHybrid solutions: Synchro Condensers, STATCOM and Battery systemsFlexibility solutions for grid applications5 years experience in technical sales, sales engineering or customer support roles within the energy grid or power equipment sectors.Ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Collaborative mindset to work seamlessly with Business Developers and Application Engineers.Fluent in Italian & English; knowledge of additional languages relevant to SEMEA (e.g. Spanish, French, Arabic) is a plus.Other RequirementsWillingness to travel within the SEMEA region as needed.Strong commitment to safety, quality and customer satisfaction principles.Why Join UsEngage in a dynamic role at the forefront of power stability and grid modernization technology.Work with a multidisciplinary international team focused on innovation and excellence.Play a pivotal role in delivering tailored solutions that support sustainable and reliable energy infrastructures.Additional InformationRelocation Assistance Provided: NoRequired Experience: ManagerKey Skills: Project Management Methodology, Program Management, SOAP, Agile, Oracle EBS, Apache Pig, Adobe Experience Manager, Jira, Release Management, Scrum, SAS, SDLCEmployment Type: Full-TimeExperience: yearsVacancy: 1#J-18808-Ljbffr
