About the Position We are looking for a Commodity Specialist to join the Electromechanics team, reporting directly to the Electromechanics Head of. This position is based at our office in Italy. You will be responsible for Motors & Fan and Electromechanic components. Responsibilities Develop, implement and monitor cross-functional commodity strategies aligned with Divisions and Regions, reflecting market and technology trends and guiding the organization on decisions to come. Form and manage a supplier panel providing access to competitive conditions and controlled risks for new technologies and required capacities. Define supplier bid lists with BL/Region for new business opportunities and follow the sourcing process. Monitor and drive the achievement of defined Purchasing KPIs. Active risk management for defined commodities. Lead evaluation and qualification of new suppliers (Supplier Risk Assessment). Contracts management. Lead budgeting, target definition and global negotiations. Strong interaction with China Region and China+1. Develop new suppliers exploring Asia market to achieve better total cost, and manage global relationships for local suppliers, especially considering US-China tariff evolution. Support Marelli EMS organization. Qualifications Education: Technical College Degree or equivalent; engineering degree preferred. Languages: English fluent; additional languages preferred. Experience: 5+ years in an International Purchasing Organization (depending on Commodity). Other skills and Expectations Ability to translate business needs into strategic actions; ability to organize and lead workshops; strong planning and analytical skills. Dynamic and continuously looking for improvements; high accountability; good financial understanding. Good understanding of Supplier Quality and ability to balance it with business needs; good networking and MS Office skills; good technical understanding. Travel availability (frequent).
