In this role, you will provide stellar customer service while processing customer transactions and support bank goals by promoting and referring bank products and services. You will also assist in the supervision of Branch Tellers and Branch operations.CompensationHourly pay range: $21.00 to $24.50/hour, commensurate with experience; plus sales incentives.Work ScheduleMonday – Friday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM ; Saturday on a rotation basis 8:30 AM - 1:30 PM (hours may vary)Required QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredOne year of experience as an FHB Senior Teller; orTwo years’ experience as an FHB Teller and cross‑trained to perform supervisor duties; orOne year experience as a Teller (or equivalent) in another financial institution with two years’ supervisory and cashiering experience requiredKnowledge of the financial services industry (e.g., retail, mortgage/loans/deposits, and wholesale banking) preferredMust be pleasant and tactful when interacting with customersGood oral and interpersonal communication skillsAttention to detail and ability to use judgment and discretion regarding customer transactions and confidential informationAble to handle confidential matters judiciouslyMust be able to perform basic mathematical calculations and balance cash with the assistance of a calculatorPossess sales skills to enhance business development opportunitiesAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionFamiliar with standard concepts, procedures, and practices in branch operationsDemonstrated ability to lead a teamAbility to work under pressure with multiple deadlinesAbility to problem solveAbility to resolve complex staff and customer issues/transactionsExercise good judgementBenefitsWe proudly offer a comprehensive benefits program for all employees.
