Play a strategic role in directing the store team to consistently deliver a memorable RL customer experience to an exceptional level. Inspire, empower, lead and motivate the development of the store team. Generate meaningful revenue and profitable and sustainable growth for the store. Effectively communicate and implement the store strategy and initiatives that support the RL business vision. The junior pastry cook prepares and bakes a wide range of pastries, dessert and baked goods including cookies. Support and help both the Chef and the Pastry Chef in the daily kitchen operations. Maintain an inventory of baking supplies and ensure the quality of ingredients used in all preparations. Work closely with the executive Chef and other kitchen staff to develop menus and execute pastry orders for events and special requests. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Provide both a unique and elevated guest experience for each guest Serve customers as part of a team by anticipating their needs, initiating conversation, offering assistance and advice Perform dining room set‑up and clean up, running side work and closing duties Check identification to ensure customers meet minimum age requirements for consuming alcoholic beverages Compute customer checks, operate the POS system and accept payments Maintain dining room safety and sanitation standards, and be aware of potential hazards such as slipping, tripping, falling or burns Attend all pre‑shift meetings ready to "listen and learn" and share ideas Take breaks only when approved by the Chef or Sous Chef Respect the schedule and working hours assigned by the Manager Keep a clean and professional appearance at all times May perform other duties as assigned Experience, Skills & Knowledge Must possess HACCP certificate Understand critical situation during peak periods and avoid leaving the work area Have extensive knowledge on the spirits, wine and cocktail menu, knowing each product on the menu and be able to offer recommendations Have extensive knowledge of the restaurant's menu and wine list, including daily specials Availability to work overtime when necessary Ability to effectively communicate verbally with customers and other staff in a fast‑paced environment Ability to follow instructions and procedures Must have strong customer service skills and be able to maintain poise and positive personality when under pressure Must possess acute attention to detail Seniority level Entry level Employment type Full‑time Job function Management and Manufacturing Industries Advertising Services Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at BoF Careers by 2x Get notified about new Pastry Cook jobs in Milan, Lombardy, Italy . #J-18808-Ljbffr
