Ingenn is the Head Hunting company solely focused on the search and selection of technical profiles and engineers.The PartnerWe are looking for an Electrolytes/Chemistry Expert to be hired on a permanent contract with one of our clients, an innovative Start-Up in the chemical-engineering sector. Our client specializes in renewable energy and, in particular, in the research, development and prototyping of new green batteries and long-duration energy storage systems.The RoleLead and supervise with a \"hands-on\" approach the development and optimization of electrolyte formulations, designing advanced solutions using analytical characterization techniques, stability testing and chemical-physical analysisConduct technology scouting activities to identify crossover and imbalance mitigation strategies existing in other electrochemical sectors, evaluate their applicability to our client's systems and minimize performance gapsAnalyze the landscape of materials compatible with our client's project, identify opportunities for new formulations and interface with suppliers of membranes, electrodes and contact components when necessaryInterface with industrial partners and suppliers in order to transform \"laboratory\" formulations into truly scalable production processes, defining QC procedures and acceptance criteriaSupervise junior chemists and laboratory technicians, ensuring methodological consistency and alignment between experimental results, defined operating windows and scale-up requirements for manufacturingJob RequirementsMaster's degree or PhD in chemistry/chemical inorganica engineering or equivalent qualificationPrevious experience of at least 5 years in the development of electrolyte formulations and/or research projects in the electrochemical field, preferably with focus on chemical analysis, analytical characterization and materials compatibility in redox flow batteries and/or alkaline systemsA proven ability to conduct structured laboratory experiments with high reproducibility, including skills in analytical techniques (titration, spectroscopy, conductivity/viscosity) and rigorous technical documentation is a mandatory requirementExcellent level of English (B2 minimum)The knowledge of italian language level C1 or C1 is ideal but not mandatoryLocationRho (MI)#J-18808-Ljbffr
