For our project at the University of Naples Federico II’s Apple Developer Academy, imaginary institute is looking for highly motivated and diverse talent to join the team. Candidates are required to work in a highly dynamic, fast-paced, and flexible environment and collaborate within our international and trans-disciplinary team that creates and facilitates the learning experience at the University of Naples Federico II’s Apple Developer Academy and associated Apple Foundation Programs based on the Challenge Based Learning framework. For more information about the Academy, visit The position requires general experience in mobile app development for iOS, visionOS, watchOS, iPadOS, tvOS, or MacOS, and knowledge of the Apple technology ecosystem. The candidate is expected to learn about new topics, support students in their development projects, and work alongside experienced Mentors to support and mentor students in their learning and the overall learning experience. Responsibilities: Providing hands-on technical support for students in their development projects Supporting experienced team members in the labs on operational tasks Providing mentorship to individuals or groups of students Providing constructive feedback on student artifacts and deliverables Writing technical documentation related to app development topics Executing daily operational tasks as required Sharing personal experience and expertise with others Working independently with clearly defined deliverables Collaborating cross-functionally with team members Knowledge of Swift and optionally other programming languages Expertise in computational thinking and advanced programming logic Experience in app development within the Apple ecosystem Expertise in developing user interfaces with SwiftUI and UIKit Knowledge of Human Interface Guidelines for Apple Platforms Expertise in developing concurrent code, API integrations, etc. Knowledge of building and deploying software with Xcode and Git Experience with the Challenge Based Learning framework or similar approaches Professional or personal experience collaborating with diverse groups Ability to work in a highly dynamic environment and as a team player Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills Proficiency in English (C1 or C2) Former experience as an Apple Developer Academy student is a plus Experience in editorial writing of technical content is a plus Additional Information: The role is a temporary full-time position to be filled as soon as possible. It requires on-site presence at the University of Naples Federico II’s Apple Developer Academy in Napoli, Italy, and the ability to work within Italy (EU citizenship or valid work permit required). imaginary institute is a collective of developers, designers, transformers, and imaginative thinkers working at the intersection of technology, design, education, and innovation.
