Role Overview This position reports to the R&D Team Lead and contributes to the ABB Electrification Business area, particularly for the Smart Power Division in Bergamo. The role is located in the R&D Laboratory, following the development and management of the validation process on different Low Voltage devices. Responsibilities Define test sequences and execution methods, prepare test set-ups, and execute tests on devices. Analyze test results and issue related reports according to applicable standards. Propose improvements in existing test techniques and use new test and measurement equipment. Assist and support customers during testing activities. Qualifications High School Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in the Electrotechnical field or Electrical/Electronic field. Basic knowledge of Electrical engineering. Experience with electrical and mechanical measuring instruments and analysis capacity. Computer skills (programming knowledge and office software package). Passionate, organized, good at teamwork, high desire to learn, and attitude for problem solving. Proficiency in Italian and English.
