Job Overview : The Head of IT is a pivotal role that oversees the effective management of the company's IT infrastructures and core business platforms. Key Responsibilities include : Implementing new IT projects to enhance business efficiency and effectiveness through strategic planning, resource allocation, and risk management. Ensuring existing IT systems are secure, running optimally, and meet the needs of the organization by conducting regular audits, upgrades, and maintenance. Nurturing relationships with external vendors and partners to identify opportunities for collaboration and leverage their expertise in meeting IT requirements. Developing and implementing comprehensive IT strategies aligned with company goals, objectives, and vision. The successful Head of IT will report directly to the Group CFO and be responsible for making informed decisions about future investments based on emerging technologies. Effective communication and collaboration skills are essential for this position, as the individual works closely with various stakeholders, including executive management, department heads, and employees at all levels within the organization. Required Skills and Qualifications : Strong leadership and team management skills with experience in overseeing large-scale IT projects. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills with the ability to negotiate and collaborate with stakeholders. Expertise in IT infrastructure management, cybersecurity, and data analytics with knowledge of emerging technologies. Proven track record of success in developing and implementing strategic IT plans that drive business growth and innovation.
