Are you a commercially driven sales professional who knows the printing industry and loves opening doors, developing new relationships and turning opportunities into business ?
We’re looking for a Business Development Manager to join an international technology business supporting the printing industry.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a technical salesperson with strong field sales experience and a solid understanding of print and associated technologies, fluent in Italian, French and English.
The Role
Working remotely from Italy , you’ll take responsibility for identifying, developing and converting new business opportunities while also building strong relationships with existing customers.
You’ll be highly visible in the market, spending approximately 50% of your time travelling , meeting customers and prospects and representing the business at key industry events and trade shows. Covering the territory of Italy andFrance , you will be using Italian and French on daily basis.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Actively developing new business and sales opportunities
- Identifying and engaging with potential customers across the printing industry
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with prospects and existing accounts
- Managing the sales process
- Meeting and exceeding annual sales objectives
- Providing accurate sales forecasts and maintaining up-to‑date CRM information
- Attending industry trade shows, exhibitions and events
- Working closely with product management, engineering, marketing and field sales teams
About You
- Proven field sales / business development experience within the printing industry
- Knowledge of technologies such as flexographic printing, digital printing, inkjet and UV curing
- Exposure to adhesive and/or coating technologies would be highly valuable
- Strong commercial awareness and the ability to identify opportunities in technically complex environments
- Exceptional organisational, presentation and communication skills
- The ability to work independently and effectively from a home office
- Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time
- Fluent Italian, French and English
