Role Overview The Field Engineer Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating on-site engineering activities in oil and gas projects, ensuring safe, efficient, and technically compliant execution. This role leads a team of field engineers, provides technical support during project execution, and acts as the key liaison between field operations and project management. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the field engineering team across all project phases (commissioning, start-up, operations, maintenance). Ensure field activities are carried out in accordance with project specifications, industry standards, and safety/environmental regulations. Coordinate with Project Managers to align field operations with project schedules and objectives. Provide hands‑on technical support and troubleshoot engineering issues on‑site. Oversee and ensure the proper completion of technical documentation, field reports, and punch lists. Liaise with clients, contractors, and vendors to resolve technical issues and ensure quality execution. Participate in and promote HSE meetings, toolbox talks, and safety initiatives. Ensure implementation of operating procedures, quality assurance systems, and field engineering best practices. Requirements Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related discipline). Minimum of 7–10 years of experience in the Oil & Gas sector. Fluent in English (written and spoken).
