With integrated solutions across four key domains – telecom networks, IT, smart devices, and cloud services – we are committed to bringing digital to every person, home and organization for a fully connected, intelligent world.Job TitleIP Maintenance EngineerJob LocationPosition open in Milan OR RomeMissionsPlan and implement maintenance strategies for IP (Datacom) network productsEnsure optimal network performance through preventive and corrective actionsConfigure and optimise network systems using advanced technologiesDiagnose and resolve complex technical issues under SLA constraintsProvide technical support and collaborate with clients and internal teamsPrepare clear documentation, including operational procedures and incident reportsKey ResponsibilitiesMaintain and optimise ISP network infrastructuresTroubleshoot and resolve network incidents efficientlySupport clients during project implementation and technology adoptionCoordinate with R&D teams and ensure smooth communicationParticipate in on‑call rotations for critical supportRequirementsThe ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience in ISP environments, with strong expertise in routing, switching, and MPLS. They are detail‑oriented, proactive, and capable of working under pressure. Excellent communication skills and fluency in Italian and English are essential. This position will ask you to exchange in both Italian (fluent) and English (B2).Skills & ExperiencesRouting protocols: BGP/MP-BGP, IS-ISMPLS technologies: LDP, MPLS VPN (L3VPN), EVPN, IPsec, Seamless MPLSRedundancy protocols: IPv4/IPv6, VRRPQoS, Ethernet trunkingHuawei equipment experience (PTN6900, ATN Series, ME60-X16) is a plusCertification HCNP/CCNP is a plusWhat We OfferWe offer you an exciting professional career in one of the leading and fastest growing multinational telecommunication companies, challenging work and a competitive salary package.
