We are looking for a skilled Model Maker to join a Formula One client in Northern Italy. This is a hands-on role focused on preparation, finishing, and assembly of high-precision components for CNC machining and 3D-printed parts used in F1 production. Role Purpose Preparation and cutting of tooling blocks (RAKU) for CNC machining Finishing, sanding, and painting of CNC and 3D-printed components Assembly of components, including bushings, keenserts, plugs, and bolts Responsibilities Cutting materials using band and vertical saws Manual finishing, sanding, and painting of components Input and track component data in the management system Ensure all components meet F1 precision standards Requirements Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Model Maker, Pattern Maker, or Painter (preparation-focused) Knowledge of tooling blocks (RAKU), carbon, and similar materials Proficiency with measuring instruments: vernier calipers, depth gauges, micrometres Ability to read and work from engineering drawings High manual dexterity and attention to detail Willingness to work shifts, including occasional weekends Basic knowledge of English or Italian Contract Details Start Date: February Duration: 6 months Rate: Competitive, discussed on application Benefits: Travel allowance and accommodation provided Apply now: Send your CV to
