We are looking for a skilled Model Maker to join a Formula One client in Northern Italy.This is a hands-on role focused on preparation, finishing, and assembly of high-precision components for CNC machining and 3D-printed parts used in F1 production.Role PurposePreparation and cutting of tooling blocks (RAKU) for CNC machiningFinishing, sanding, and painting of CNC and 3D-printed componentsAssembly of components, including bushings, keenserts, plugs, and boltsResponsibilitiesCutting materials using band and vertical sawsManual finishing, sanding, and painting of componentsInput and track component data in the management systemEnsure all components meet F1 precision standardsRequirementsMinimum 3 years' experience as a Model Maker, Pattern Maker, or Painter (preparation-focused)Knowledge of tooling blocks (RAKU), carbon, and similar materialsProficiency with measuring instruments: vernier calipers, depth gauges, micrometresAbility to read and work from engineering drawingsHigh manual dexterity and attention to detailWillingness to work shifts, including occasional weekendsBasic knowledge of English or ItalianContract DetailsStart Date: FebruaryDuration: 6 monthsRate: Competitive, discussed on applicationBenefits: Travel allowance and accommodation providedApply now: Send your CV to Debora.Bezedea@v-hr.com
