Senior Brand Manager

CSL Vifor is actively looking for a Senior Brand Manager for its nephrology portfolio, including a product launch. This role reports to the Head of Marketing Italy and is based in Rome (hybrid work). Your accountabilities and tasks will be the following, but not limited to:
Accountabilities
Understand the market landscapes, the competitive scenario and the value needs of patients, caregivers, physicians, and payers.
Ensure local commercialization strategies are linked to global strategy; this will require communication and influence with global teams and GBU leaders to ensure that local cross-functional resources are in place in time and at the proper level to support to achieve the target.
Engage of Thought leaders in collaboration with Medical to localize the Global strategy across all relevant specialties.
Plan, develop and deliver robust launch readiness assessments, and at the same time, ensures a strong launch readiness process.
Lifecycle strategy development.
Tasks
Lead and integrate market research into strategic and operational activities.
Support the development of strategic and operational local plans and budgets for already in market products/new products.
Manage the delivery of marketing programmes and initiatives, as per strategic and operational local plans, creating an impactful and seamless customer experience based on customers’ contact preferences.
Track and act upon performance metrics to increase marketing effectiveness.
Collaborating cross-functionally and with the global brand team
Creates sustainable, long-term relationships with thought leaders and professional societies.
Work effectively with field-based staff (incl. KAMs), training them on strategy, materials, and other product-related capabilities, as well as providing support for local programs and initiatives.
Ensure key performance metrics are in place, tracking and reporting KPIs to enable adherence.
Manage external vendors / agencies and lead day-to-day operational projects.
Collaborate cross-functionally and liaise with global / region to enrich the brand strategy and tactics and share standard methodologies and market best practices.
The knowledge and skills necessary to perform the duties of this position are typically acquired through the following combination of education, experience and knowledge, or the equivalent.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor degree in a relevant field.
Minimum 6 years of experience in the life sciences industry.
Strong track record of strategic and operation planning for Hospital lead products.
Understanding of medical aspects of therapeutic area along with willingness to develop in-depth expertise.
Knowledge of the local legal and regulatory landscape.
Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to work with key customers, such as KOLs and developing opinion leader programs.
Professional level in English, both in oral and in written communications.
Ability to travel at least 40%.
Preferred Requirements
Minimum 6 years industry of experience in marketing roles.
Documented success in working with customer facing teams and medical departments.
