Awash with nautical spirit, our gem on the Italian Riviera celebrates the art of Ligurian living in its purest form.For the next season, we are looking for a Gelatiere to join our Gelateria San Giorgio.The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality and comfortable with challenges. He/She is willing to provide authentic and luxury experiences, demonstrating care, confidence, curiosity and community.He/she will report to the F&B Manager.Main duties & responsibilitiesKnowledge of all the equipment/machines of the laboratoryOrganizational skills in production departmentPreparation of mixturesEnsure compliance with quality and quantity standardsSupervision of periodic maintenance of machineryAbility to manage orders Production programmationConservation of raw materials and finished productsFormulation of basic recipesAttitude to work in a team and problem solving skillsCleaning, disinfection of machinery, their parts, equipment in general and the laboratoryRequirementsAt least 3 years of experience in a similar position in an artisanal ice cream shop of high quality and service standardsEnsure a high level quality standard in line with company standardsPassion for service and ambition to grow professionallyCorrect and complete knowledge of specific production techniquesKnowledge of the correct operation and maintenance of production machinesKnowledge of the laws on the handling and production of food products, with particular attention to those concerning the healthiness of the products (bacterial loads, pathogens, etc.) HACCP certificationBenefitsWe offer seasonal Labour contract according to C.C.N.L.
