Are you ready to make an impact?Position Summary The Residential Cook will prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner for our clients. The residential cook will also work with the Directors and residential staff to ensure the menus are nourishing for our clients.Job Details Job Type: Full TimePay: $20Work Location: LodiResponsibilities Setting up, cleaning, and organizing workstations.Preparing ingredients for the shift; washing vegetables, chopping, seasoning meat, etc.Preparing oven, utensils, and grill for shift.Preparing meals according to menus.Cooking in accordance with food health and safety standards.Recommending ideas for specials or seasonal dishes.Dressing food and plates for presentation.Store all food properly.Sanitizing and cleaning workstations and utensils.Re-ordering stock and food supplies.Maintaining cleanliness of kitchen, pantries, freezers, and refrigerators.Qualifications High School Degree or equivalent.At least one (1) year of experience working as a cook.Must have a Food Handlers CardMust be able to pass a CCL approved FBI and DOJ criminal background clearance.PPD test for tuberculosis and satisfactory results.Health Screening.CPR/First Aid/BLS certification.Valid driver’s license.Must be authorized to work in the U.S.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.Ability to quickly prepare a meal.Ability to read and understand a menu.Ability to prepare an inventory.Ability to self-motivate.Physical Requirements Physical endurance to stand for an entire shift.Ability to climb stairs multiple times a day and be able to lift and/or carry 25 pounds or less.Ability to sit, rise, kneel, squat, twist, pull bend multiple times a day.Ability to handle sharp cooking instruments.Ability to walk with items in hand, grasp and reach as needed.Ability to provide first aid as needed.Benefits Medical, Dental, VisionLife InsuranceEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)VacationHolidaysGLOM is an equal opportunity employer and probits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, citizenship status, ancestry, age, sex, sexual orientation, marital status, physical or mental disability, genetics, protected veteran, military status or unfavorable discharge from military service, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws.#J-18808-Ljbffr
