Medical Science Liaison - Italyrole atSyneos Health Commercial SolutionsOverview The Syneos Health Medical Science Liaison (MSL) serves as the primary field-based point of contact for external stakeholders, providing non-promotional scientific, educational, and research support for our client’s products. The primary focus is to identify and engage with thought leaders in Neuroscience and Neurology therapeutic areas.ResponsibilitiesIdentifies, develops and manages partnerships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and other prominent HCPs and stakeholders related to our client’s productsEngages in scientific exchange with KOLs and HCPs regarding efficacy, safety and value in an unbiased, non-promotional scientific mannerCommunicates scientific, clinical and disease state information to diverse audiences (KOLs, HCPs, hospital/decision making teams, etc.) as requested or per medical plan and local regulationsIdentifies and maps KOLs, stakeholders, key accounts and patient referral patterns and pathwaysProvides optimal support to Early Access Programs (EAPs) and training to participating centresEssential RequirementsPrevious MSL experienceCompleted biomedical or medical education at Master’s or PhD levelKnowledge of EFPIA and national codes of conduct guidelines applicable to Medical AffairsUnderstanding of GCP guidelines for Phase II–IV interventional trials and RWE generation including NI trials, EAPs/Named Patient Programs, and Investigator Sponsored ResearchGood communication skills in English and languages of supported countriesDesired RequirementsProduct launch and market access support experienceExperience in Neuroscience and Neurology; rare disease experience is also valuedWhy Syneos Health?
