Activities contributing to the design and development of products, solutions and systems. Includes activities linked to technical improvement of existing products and components. Impacts quality of own work and the work of others on the team. Executes standard operational/technical tasks typically subject to instructions and work routines. There is latitude to rearrange the sequence to complete task/duties based on changing work situations.

Job DescriptionRoles and Responsibilities

• Create definitions of parts, modules, and assemblies in the form of 2D cross sections, 3D models, tolerance stack-ups, and various electronic data formats to support analysis, manufacturing, assembly, tooling, and inspection - typically does not require Engineering degree add non-Engineers language here
• Broadening knowledge of own technical discipline to execute policy/strategy. May include support roles with specialized technical field of knowledge;
  
  still acquiring higher level knowledge and skills.
• Basic understanding of key business drivers;
  
  uses this understandingto accomplish own work. Good understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.
• May have some autonomy to make decisions within a defined framework. Resolves issues in situations that require good technical knowledge and judgment within established procedures. Consults more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters.
• A job at this level requires good interpersonal skills and may be required to lead a junior team. For customer facing roles, develops strong customer relationships and serves as the interface between customer and GE. Explains technical information to others.

Required Qualifications

• This role requires basic experience in the Engineering/Technology & Drafting. Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma with relevant experience).

Weekly Hours

38.5 weekly hours for white collars and non-shift blue collars;

38 weekly hours for shift blue collars.

Pay Range

Between € 36800 and € 55200 gross per annum. The specific pay offered will consider the candidate’s education, qualifications, experience and skill set.

Eligibility for Bonus Plan

• Eligible to participate in Variable-AIP annual bonus plan that provides a target incentive of 5% of the individual’s annual base salary depending on achievement of key business metrics and individual performance.

Union / CBA

A National Collective Bargaining Agreement (‘NCBA’ - Chimico - Farmaceutico) is applicable in relation to the position. Below, we indicate the relevant provisions of the remuneration regulations applicable at the Employer. The available benefits based on the currently effective CBA and company policies include the following:

Base Salary

The remuneration is established according to the Chimico Farmaceutico NCBA salary scale, which defines employment levels and minimum salary levels.

Pension Contributions

All levels are eligible. Employer Contribution: 2.1%. Employee Contribution: 1.2%. Base: monthly gross salary.

Medical Benefits

Healthcare coverage provided under the NCBA. The employee can choose to be cancelled from this basic coverage and be enrolled in the supplementary healthcare coverage offered by Generali.

Canteen or Compensatory Allowance

Access to company canteen with Employee contribution equal to €0.90 for daily meal. Daily compensatory allowance equal to €3.50 in the absence of canteen services.

Welfare Credit

€250 annual credit as per NCBA available on a dedicated portal for education, sports, travel, or pension reimbursements.

Insurance

All levels are covered with accident insurance providing 6 times Gross Annual Salary for death and 7 times for permanent disability. Additional coverage for permanent disability due to illness: 1 time Gross Annual Salary up to €200,000. Life insurance: 2 times Gross Annual Salary.

Production and Participation Bonus

Fixed annual production bonus of €2,086 gross, paid in monthly installments through the pay slip. Annual variable participation bonus negotiated each year, convertible into welfare benefits in accordance with local work council agreements (2025 target value: €1,916 gross).
