Commodity Manager/Buyer

We help a diverse range of customers across the value chain to reduce operating costs and improve productivity. Our team plays an integral role by helping the business plan for the future. Responsibilities, authorities and accountabilities Define and improve Sourcing strategies at business or plant level. May also include management of regional & business teams. Elaborates proposals for improvement in approaches, methods, procedures and processes in the own field. Handles communication with direct colleagues and the business about design and coordination services rendered. Contributes to project as a team member. Work goals typically take 1-3 month to complete and results are seen immediately or within 1-2 months Required Qualifications Bachelor’s/Master degree from an accredited university or college in Engineering or Economic with experience in procurement or commodity management Show a good experience in Procurement, Operations, Supply Chain English and Italian fluent, both in writing and speaking Excellent communication and influencing skills Analytical mindset with a proven ability to resolve problems and identify solutions Positive attitude to embrace change and see challenge as opportunity Strong interpersonal and leadership skills Demonstrated ability to cope with multiple complex situations daily Negotiation expertise Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs Availability to travel Work in a way that works for you We recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
