Manufacturing Engineer - MachiningWe are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer specializing in machining to join our dynamic team. This role involves designing and implementing effective manufacturing processes and equipment to ensure high-quality product outcomes while maximizing efficiency and cost-effectiveness.ResponsibilitiesDetermine necessary equipment and process design to manufacture products economically while maintaining fit, form, function, and quality standards.Provide documentation, training, and communication of product/process-related information to supervisors and shop personnel.Collaborate with Design Engineering to improve product design for cost reduction, enhanced quality, and manufacturability.Lead process improvement projects aimed at optimizing manufacturing processes.Investigate and recommend procurement of equipment to enhance manufacturing processes.Process and communicate Engineering Change Notices and Requests in a timely manner.Analyze current and proposed manufacturing processes to improve safety.Essential SkillsMinimum of 3 years experience in manufacturing engineering, CNC programming, and machining.Proficiency in manufacturing processes and process engineering.Experience with CNC machining, programming, brake press, and saw operations.Ability to work on ROI processes.Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering Technology, Industrial Engineering Technology, or related field.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with AutoCAD is a plus.Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles is desirable.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.Proficiency in computer skills, including word processing and spreadsheets.Work EnvironmentThis position involves hands‑on problem solving and design variation, often requiring collaboration with installers and operators.
