The Financial Accountant is an all-round financial position aimed at providing financial insights by creating financial analyses and reports. This position is part of a close team and in our dynamic organization a lot of energy and a can-do attitude will bring you successResponsibilitiesWhat will you do? As an Accounting Operations Associate Accountant at SodaStream, you will be responsible for :Working closely together with the full finance team on the month-end close, ensuring reporting deadlines are met for all countries in scopeGive support to the Italian market’s financial administration and administrative procedures, within the set procedures and guidelinesBank processingAccounts ReceivablesAccounts PayablesThe bookkeeping, balance sheet and control account reconciliations, accruals, prepayments and preparing / posting of journalsCooperating with the Finance team on executing activities related to external audits, fiscal reporting (VAT / Intrastat) and compliancy topicTakes active part in ad hoc activities, e.g. process improvement projectsQualificationsRequirements for the role :Bachelor’s degree in economics or accounting diplomaAt least 2 / 3 years’ experience in the job within structured companiesKnowledge of the MS Office Package (especially in MS Excel) and integrated management systemsStrong knowledge of accounting proceduresExperience with ERP systems is desired, experience with NetSuite is an advantageExperience in TM1 is an advantageEnsure compliance with US GAAP and ITA GAAP principlesEnglish fluency is mandatoryThe right personIs accurate, strong in processes and proactiveHas a hands-on mentality, is a self-starter and a strong team playerHas good controlling ability that drives resultsHas well-developed communication skills and are culturally aware#J-18808-Ljbffr
