Position SummaryIn this role, you will be part of the Winches design team. You will be responsible for defining and designing the most suitable solutions to meet our customers' requirements, in accordance with standards and internal design best practices. Starting from requirements provided by customers or the sales team, you will develop a solution proposal and follow the design lifecycle through all phases (planning, design, calculation, standards compliance, documentation, testing monitoring). You will also support other functions (sales, purchasing, manufacturing, and assembly) with technical assistance from the engineering team. Main opportunities and challenges:Opportunity to join a dynamic design environment Opportunity to learn and improve winch design and simulation methods Challenge: create a new patent – introduce new solutions with additive manufacturing Main ResponsibilitiesDesign new solutions (winches) according to requirements and standards Create 3D and 2D CAD models & Bill of Materials Evaluate and manage design change requests Calculate and verify designed solutions (gears, main components, electric/hydraulic actuation) Define test plans for identified solutions Job Position RequirementsEducation: University master's degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Aerospace, or Management Engineering Professional background in: Winch companies Electronic companies Gearbox companies Automotive companies 3-5 years of experience in mechanical design, construction, machinery, and equipment.
