They are currently going through a period of substantial growth and are looking to bring an extra member into their team.The roleAs the Sales Manager - Italy you will be responsible for developing new business within the D-I-Y market. You will create a business plan to outline revenue and growth goals whilst creating a strategy to meet these goals. You will manage larger key customer accounts and act as the first point of contact.Key responsibilitiesDevelop new business within the D-I-Y marketCreate a business plan including targeted revenue and growthLiaising with marketing to co-ordinate business activitiesAct as the first point of contact for various DIY accounts and distributorsBuild up key customer relationships and long term partnershipsReporting directly to boardIdeal CandidateYou will already be a successful Sales Manager - Italy for an electronic, robotic or D-I-Y business. You will be confident in creating a business vision and always working towards this. You will be able to manage key accounts and will be able to collaborate with cross functional teams of experts. You must have the ability to build strong business and personal relationships whilst developing profitable account growth.Key requirementsAt least 5 years of sales experience into one or more leading DIY retail chains in Italy (e.g., Leroy Merlin, OBI, Bricocenter, Bricoman, Bricofer etc.).Solid understanding of the Italian DIY and home improvement market, including key players, trends, and category dynamics.Proven experience in new business development, with a track record of driving growth and building strong customer relationships.Strong commercial and analytical mindset - able to translate data and insights into effective sales strategies.Hands‑on and results‑oriented attitude, with the ability to work independently and take ownership.Good command of English, both spoken and written; Italian language fluency is assumed.Experience in garden machinery or related product categories is an advantage, but not essential.Seniority levelEntry levelEmployment typeFull‑timeJob functionBusiness Development and SalesIndustriesAppliances, Electrical, and Electronics Manufacturing, Cutlery and Handtool Manufacturing, and Manufacturing#J-18808-Ljbffr
