This role is central to shaping our go-to-market strategy, providing data-driven insights, and enabling strategic decision-making across Business Units, Product Groups, Product Lines, Market Segments & Subsegments, Regions, and Countries. You will collaborate closely with workstream leaders and senior stakeholders to analyze market trends, evaluate commercial performance, and identify opportunities for growth and optimization. This is a high-impact role for a strategic thinker with strong analytical capabilities and a passion for driving transformation in a global, matrixed environment. This position offers flexibility and can be based anywhere in Europe.**How you’ll make an impact*** Deliver high-quality market and business analysis to support the development and execution of go-to-market strategies* Monitor project progress and synthesize insights to inform leadership decisions within the M&S and other functions* Analyze financial, sales, and customer data to assess the effectiveness of marketing and commercial initiatives* Prepare strategic presentations, dashboards, and meeting materials for senior leadership, ensuring clarity and alignment with project goals* Collaborate with M&S community (Global Industry Network Leaders, Regional Market Development Managers, HBU Market Managers, etc.) and the Portfolio teams across the BUs to ensure consistent communication and alignment* Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying process gaps and supporting the development of scalable solutions**Your background*** A university degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field* Proven experience in market analysis, commercial strategy, or business intelligence — ideally within the energy sector and a global matrix organization* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights* Proficiency in data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Excel)* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and present findings clearly and persuasively* A proactive, self-driven mindset with a passion for strategic transformation and operational excellence## Qualified individuals with a disability may request a reasonable accommodation if you are unable or limited in your ability to use or access the Hitachi Energy career site as a result of your disability.
