OverviewRINA is currently recruiting for a Lead Auditor - Aerospace Scheme to join its office in Prato, Italy within the Mediterranean & Africa Certification Division.MissionThe role focuses on planning, execution, and management of audits within our certification business, leading large and complex customer engagements, ensuring effective audit processes, compliance with standards, and fostering strong client relationships.Key AccountabilitiesYour key responsibilities encompass leading comprehensive third-party audits aligned with the EN9100:2018 aerospace quality management standard, meticulously assessing client systems and processes to ensure compliance and identify opportunities for enhancement. You will oversee the management of a strategic three-year audit program for client organizations, meticulously scheduling and executing audits to maintain certification status and stimulate ongoing organizational improvements.Engagement with clients will be a core aspect of your role, involving detailed consultations to understand their operational challenges and certification objectives, thereby positioning yourself as a trusted advisor. Collaborating cross-functionally with internal teams, you will facilitate the implementation of audit findings and corrective actions, ensuring that recommendations translate into measurable improvements.You will maintain acute awareness of evolving aerospace industry standards, regulatory requirements such as EASA Part 145 and Part 21, and emerging best practices, allowing you to provide informed guidance to clients and to enhance RINA Services’ position as an industry thought leader.
