Junior Sales Manager Hill's Pet Nutrition is a part of Colgate-Palmolive Company, a global consumer products company operating in over 200 countries specializing in Oral Care, Personal Care, Home Care, Skin Care, and Pet Nutrition. We are a household name trusted in more households than any other brand in the world. Responsibilities Support the sales team, reporting directly to the Field Sales Manager. Manage customers (veterinary clinics and specialty pet retail stores) in the assigned territory. Achieve territory sales targets through effective visits, order collection, and handling commercial/financial aspects. Maintain accurate records in the Hill’s reporting system. Leverage all company tools to drive execution (product distribution, detailing material, staff feeding, sampling, trial, etc.). Support business development of the assigned area by providing best-in-class professional support, detailing, merchandising, and collaborating with the Pet Vet Affairs team. Ensure brand awareness, full distribution, and active endorsement by veterinary professionals and store staff. Establish shelf space and adequate inventory within each store. Monitor achievement of territory objectives vs target and develop strategies to address changes in the business environment. Qualifications Master’s degree in Veterinary, Animal Science or Business & Management. Previous sales experience in a nutrition company, veterinary industry, or pharmaceutical company. Additional Competencies & Skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal). Ability to persuade, negotiate and finalize agreements. Customer orientation/problem‑solving attitude. Excellent time‑management, planning/priority setting, and budget management. Proficient computer skills and ability to learn company‑specific tools & programs. Fluent in Italian; good English required. Valid driver’s license. Working Relationships Reports to: Field Sales Manager. Works closely with Commercial Teams, including Marketing and Professional Veterinary Affairs. Location Ferrara e provincia, Italy. Contract Temporary contract (12 months). VISA not sponsored.
