OverviewQuintas Energy Italy is seeking a Technical Services Lead to drive the growth of our technical asset management and advisory services business in Italy. This leadership role combines strategic development responsibilities with the oversight of technical service delivery, ensuring the highest standards of quality, innovation, and client satisfaction. You will report directly to the Global Head of Asset Management of Quintas Energy while working in close collaboration with the Heads of AM and Quintas Advisory. Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership Provide technical leadership and guidance to service teams managing Quintas client portfolios in Italy. Stay at the forefront of renewable energy technologies, assessing their potential and applicability to client portfolios. Project & Risk Management Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of technical projects, ensuring compliance with timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Ensure full compliance with Italian and European regulatory frameworks for renewable energy. Identify and mitigate technical risks, providing troubleshooting support throughout project lifecycles. Client & Stakeholder Engagement Act as the primary technical point of contact for major clients, ensuring long-term relationships and trust. Provide expert support during negotiations and execution of client contracts. Deliver client presentations, proposals, and technical reports with clarity and impact. Team Leadership & Development Manage and mentor technical teams, ensuring effective communication, collaboration, and professional growth. Coordinate cross-functional and multinational collaboration with engineering, finance, legal, and environmental specialists. Location & Working HoursLocation: Based at Quintas Energy’s Rome office with flexible working arrangements. Working Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week. Holiday Entitlement & Benefits20 days of paid annual leave per calendar year. Moreover, you will receive one extra day of vacation for every three years of employment up to 5 extra days. Be part of a growing international team at the forefront of renewable energy QualificationsExperience: 5–10 years of professional experience in the renewable energy sector, preferably within solar PV, or battery storage asset management or technical advisory. Leadership: Proven track record in managing multidisciplinary technical teams and complex projects. Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of renewable energy systems, project development, operations, and performance optimization. Regulatory Awareness: Familiarity with Italian and European regulatory frameworks governing renewable energy projects. Communication: Excellent interpersonal and client-facing skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts clearly and persuasively. Languages: Fluency in Italian and English (spoken and written) is essential; additional European languages are an advantage. Education: Degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field. A postgraduate qualification (MSc/MBA) will be considered a plus. Mindset: Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, problem-solving skills, and a strong client-oriented mentality.
