Descrizione With over 40 years of experience in the steel industry worldwide, Danieli Automation is the ideal technology partner for production management, process and equipment control, and the supply of advanced tools and state-of-the-art electrical solutions. We are currently expanding our team in the Steel Making, Long, and Flat product areas. Work locations: Buttrio (UD); Genoa (GE). Activity Design and testing of Level 1 software for machinery and process control in metalworking plants, in compliance with company standards and contractual requirements (functionality and performance). Development of software applications for PLC and HMI to control machinery and processes, along with related technical documentation Software development based on standard solutions or similar projects, customized to meet the specific needs of the plant Drafting of functional specifications for machinery and plant processes Preparation of foundational documentation for software development, including the definition of documentation describing interfaces with third‑party automation systems present in the plant Development of PLC and HMI software using appropriate development tools Creation of the operator manual Testing of the completed project through integrated simulation, verifying compliance with required functionality and performance Commissioning of the project Technical Skills Degree in technical disciplines such as Electronic, Electrical, Computer Engineering, or Automatic Controls Solid understanding of algorithmic techniques and fundamental data structures for solving computational problems Good knowledge in reading and interpreting industrial engineering documentation, including: electrical schematics, network diagrams, single‑line diagrams, process flow diagrams, and piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID) Strong command of the English language Preferred qualifications include: Knowledge of hardware and software design issues in industrial automation systems, especially those based on Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) Experience in development using Siemens S7/TIA Portal and/or Rockwell Studio 5000 environments Familiarity with PLC architectures such as Siemens S7-1500 and Rockwell ControlLogix Knowledge and/or experience in SCADA environments such as Wonderware InTouch and/or Siemens WinCC Soft Skills Strong team-working attitude, with the ability to collaborate constructively Problem-solving skills and a result‑oriented mindset Steel Making, Long, Flat Danieli Automation #J-18808-Ljbffr
