Industrial Automation Engineer - PLC & HMI Systems at Danieli GroupDanieli Automation is a technology partner with more than 40 years of experience focused on metals worldwide.We are reinforcing our team within the Automation Steel Making department.Location: Buttrio (UD), ItalyResponsibilitiesYou will be responsible for the design and testing of Level 1 software for machinery and process control in metalworking plants, ensuring compliance with company standards and contractual requirements in terms of functionality and performance.Key activities include:Developing software applications forPLC and HMI, customizing standard solutions to meet plant requirementsDraftingfunctional specificationsfor machinery and plant processesPreparing technical documentation and defining interfaces with third-party automation systemsProgramming PLC and HMI software using development toolsCreatingoperator manualsTesting the project through integrated simulation, verifying compliance with required functionalities and performanceCommissioning the project on siteTechnical RequirementsWe are looking for candidates with:A degree in technical disciplines such as electronic, electrical, computer engineering, or automatic control systemsSolid understanding of algorithms and data structures for solving computational problemsAbility to read and interpret industrial engineering documentation (e.g., electrical schematics, network diagrams, P&ID, process flow diagrams)Preferred experience in hardware/software design for industrial automation systems, especially PLCsFamiliarity with Siemens S7/TIA Portal and/or Rockwell Studio **** environmentsExperience with Siemens S****** and Rockwell Controllogix PLC architecturesKnowledge of SCADA systems, such as Wonderware Intouch and/or Siemens WinCCSoft SkillsStrong teamwork and collaborative mindsetExcellent problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesResults-oriented approachSeniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionEngineering, Information Technology, and ScienceIndustriesIndustrial Machinery Manufacturing#J-*****-Ljbffr
