The Opportunity

Simplify Recruiting is supporting an international company in the premium marine and leisure sector with its continued expansion across Europe.

We are seeking a Business Development Manager based in Italy to develop the company's presence within the luxury hospitality market, focusing on resorts, hotels, beach clubs and leisure operators.

This is a hands‑on market development role for someone who understands the hospitality sector, knows how to build relationships with senior decision‑makers, and is comfortable developing a territory from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop new business with luxury resorts, hotels, beach clubs and hospitality groups.
  • Build relationships with General Managers, procurement teams, recreation/watersports leaders and property owners.
  • Develop direct sales as well as seasonal rental and revenue‑share partnerships.
  • Identify and develop relationships with watersports operators, concession partners and activity providers.
  • Manage the full business development cycle from initial engagement and demonstration through proposal, negotiation and implementation.
  • Develop opportunities across multiple properties through hotel groups and management companies.
  • Represent the business at relevant hospitality, leisure and industry events.
  • Maintain an active pipeline and provide regular forecasts and market feedback.
  • Coordinate with European operations teams on seasonal requirements and customer deliveries.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in luxury hospitality sales, resort business development, leisure operations, watersports or guest experiences .
  • Strong relationships within the Italian hospitality/resort market are highly desirable.
  • Understanding of how hotels and resorts make purchasing and partnership decisions.
  • Proven ability to develop new accounts and build a market from the ground up.
  • Experience with rental, concession or revenue‑sharing models is an advantage.
  • Strong commercial and relationship‑building skills.
  • Fluent Italian and business English.
  • Self‑directed and comfortable working remotely and independently.
  • Willingness to travel extensively.
  • An interest or background in boating, watersports or marine leisure is advantageous.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of developing a growing international brand's hospitality presence in Italy and build long‑term partnerships across the luxury resort and leisure market.

Candidates must be based in Italy and able to travel regularly.
