Become part of our great team as a … Head of Sales – Pharmerging Regions The Head of Sales – Pharmerging Regions leads the commercial strategy across fast-growing pharmaceutical markets, including Latin America, China, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. This role combines strategic leadership with hands‑on execution to drive revenue growth, strengthen customer relationships, and position Datwyler as a leading partner in pharmaceutical packaging for parenteral applications. You will guide regional sales teams, expand market presence, and ensure full alignment with global sales objectives. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute a tailored commercial strategy for Pharmerging regions, identifying key growth opportunities. Lead and mentor regional sales teams, driving performance, accountability, and capability building. Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and industry stakeholders, ensuring high customer satisfaction. Negotiate and close major commercial deals with pharmaceutical manufacturers, suppliers, and distributors. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments to support strategic decision-making. Provide regular sales forecasts, performance reports, and business updates to senior leadership. Manage sales budgets and ensure the optimal deployment of resources across regions. What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field; MBA is a strong plus. 5–7+ years of sales leadership experience, ideally within the pharmaceutical packaging industry. Proven success in driving commercial growth in emerging markets and managing cross-cultural teams. Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical packaging market, customer needs, and Pharmerging dynamics. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Strategic, data-driven mindset with strong commercial acumen. Fluent in English; additional languages are highly beneficial.
