Company DescriptionSICIM is a Construction Company established in 1962 and offering all types of services related to the installation of pipelines and relevant ancillary facilities for the transmission and distribution of oil, gas and water on an international basis.PositionWe are currently looking for a Civil Construction Superintendent based on one of our construction projects in Iraq.Key ResponsibilitiesFollow construction and Installation phase.Provide the interface between the work area assigned and the Site / construction ManagerLead the related works in the assigned area to complete the given task inside the given timeline.Will manage the Supervisors and Foremen in his assigned Workfront and will evaluate the quality and quantity of resources.Implement project safety, quality, schedule and cost objectives during the construction, installation, commissioning, and startup phaseTasks and ResponsibilitiesSupport planning team to develop proper activities schedule and review the construction phases together with the Site / Construction manager.Support to the development of MOS where necessaryEndorse and Promote the company Health and Safety and Quality plans.Estimate the necessary tools and materials required to perform the work and inform in time the Site / Construction managerHandle the site mobilization for his assigned work front.Be a Mentor and provide technical guidance and monitor the national development of the county where works take placeCoordinate with QaQc personnel in order to align the quality documentation with the execution progress.Address by priority QaQc and HSE issue and take all necessary action may need on site level.Provide oversight of contractor's materials.Ensure compliance with specifications, procedures, and plansMonitor workforce productivities and progress relative to scheduleMonitor Environmental compliance and inform the relevant department in case of discrepancies.Follow up the arrival of procured equipment and engineering equipmentProvide pre-commissioning / mechanical completion oversight / verificationSupervise the mechanical completion phase and transition to Commissioning Phase.Provide accurate and timely construction reports depicting progress, safety, issues, and forward plans.RequirementsAt least 5 years’ experience in a similar position in piping construction projects, Oil & Gas sector;Strong Organizational Skills;Able to work as a Team MemberFluent command of English both verbal and written;Other InformationWork Location : Iraq#J-18808-Ljbffr
