We are looking for an Apprentice for Electrification & Automation, in Milan within the Electrification and Automation Business Unit area who will be trained in 2 years as Electrical Protection Engineer . During the apprenticeship you will receive comprehensive and state-of-the-art training to develop your personal and professional skills and you will have the support of a mentor to achieve your career steps. Your ChallengeSome of your main activities will be: Design and develop technical applications for protection, control, and measurement devices Execute Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) both in Italy and abroad Develop testing tools and procedures to ensure system reliability and performance Gain expertise in Siemens Electrification & Automation product portfolio (protection, control, measurement) Support the technical development and configuration of protection systems for HV / MV applications Participate in Factory Acceptance Testing activities Establish yourself as a technical and theoretical reference point within the team for electrical protection systems Become the national reference for Siemens' Protection Portfolio Acquire the skills to independently manage protection and automation projects Required entry qualificationsYou have less than 30 years of age, in accordance with the Italian apprenticeship contract You are fresh graduate or you have a technical academical background ITS Degree; Proficiency in English and Italian Team player ability, strong communication & interpersonal skills; Ability to work in a changing environment Passion to never-stop growing Respect and appreciation of each person's uniqueness, willingness to co create and share knowledge Eligibility to work in Italy What We OfferFlexibility : trustful environment with an inclusive and flexible way of working driven by results,; hybrid and remote working enabled by innovative tools and devices, personal computer and smartphone; wi-fi connection reimbursement.
