Prometeia is seeking for talented and motivated professionals with a passion for data science and a drive for innovation to join our Data Science team as Business Translator – Senior Analyst/Specialist, contributing to transformative projects in the banking and insurance sectors.ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:As a Business Translator, you will: • Gather and analyze business requirements, ensuring a clear understanding of organizational goals and challenges to guide the design of AI solutions. • Collaborate with data scientists and machine learning engineers to develop AI prototypes and applications, focusing on data understanding, cleaning, and integrating the prototype into business processes. • Manage and coordinate complex projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with objectives. • Translate complex technical findings into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Coordinate project activities effectively with internal and external clients. • Create compelling value propositions and the related business cases.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Required skills: • Master’s degree in Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or another quantitative discipline. • At least 3-5 years of professional experience, ideally in the financial or insurance sector. • Comprehensive understanding of machine learning fundamentals and key algorithms (clustering, classification, regression). • Demonstrated experience in creating high-quality presentations and documents tailored to diverse audiences. • General knowledge in at least one data analysis programming language (e.g., Python, R, Matlab). • Familiarity with key trends and topics in the banking and insurance sec tors.Preferred Skills: • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g.,Git). • Experience in building business cases and evaluating project cost/benefit. • Preferred experience in a consultancy company.SOFT SKILLS • A problem-solver with a strong analytical mindset. • Exceptional communication skills and meticulous attention to detail. • A team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills. • Passionate about process innovation and driven by curiosity to understand and optimize business processes.LOCATION: Bologna / MilanoWHAT WE OFFER: COMPENSATION, WELFARE & BENEFIT Our history, as well as the future, is based on the value of our people.
