OverviewWe are looking for aQuality Control Supervisorto join Şişecam Flat Glass Italy located in San Giorgio di Nogaro (UD). Sisecam was founded in 1935 to establish Turkey’s glass industry in line with the vision of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. Today, Sisecam is a major global player in glass and chemicals, operating in flat glass, glassware, glass packaging, and glass fiber. It ranks among the world’s top manufacturers in its fields and has a broad global presence. We are seeking an experienced supervisor to coordinate and control quality-related activities within production, ensuring products meet customer and contractual requirements. ResponsibilitiesCoordinating all activities necessary to control the quality of production, managing product quality requirements for individual customers and projects, and ensuring that requirements are understood and implemented. Continuously reviewing quality control processes, procedures, and capabilities to advocate for cost-effective and efficient methods to meet quality requirements and making recommendations for continuous improvement. Reviewing customer quality control requirements and ensuring project quality control documentation meets contractual requirements. Coordinating and supervising the daily operations of personnel carrying out checks to provide a safe, secure and efficient working environment; ensuring facilities and equipment are operated safely and assets are maintained, stored and organized to enable efficient operation. Guaranteeing the application of the company certifications related to products and processes. Managing ISO 9001 certification audits and implementation of global procedures. QualificationsFrom 3 to 5 years of professional experience, preferably in the glass sector or industries with continuous-cycle production systems, with experience in team management. Good knowledge of Italian and English. Knowledge of ISO certifications. Possession of Six Sigma certifications, knowledge of Minitab, FMEA and 8D. Leadership skills, problem solving, results orientation, flexibility. SAP knowledge. ISO 9001 internal auditor.
