Worldwide Amazon Business Operations is building the operations and supply chain solutions that will enable AB’s rapid growth by re‑engineering many parts of our supply chain to offer bulk, consolidated, pallet deliveries and many other services that business customers require.ResponsibilitiesAssist in the day‑to‑day operations and issue resolution within fulfillment networks in Japan and Australia.Enforce effective decision through proactive retrieval and data aggregation from multiple sources.Communicate analysis and insights to internal stakeholders both verbally and in writing.Escalate problems and or variance in data to the relevant owners and internal business partners and follow through on the resolutions.Identify and eliminate root causes of defects to drive improvements in AB APAC Operations.Drive continuous improvement by identifying ways to streamline processes, minimize repetitive tasks, and create actionable outcomes.Contribute to discussions with cross‑functional teams and leadership to influence and create innovative solutions.Work independently in a dynamic environment.Basic QualificationsBachelor’s degree or equivalent.Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables, charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical / IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas).Knowledge of SQL (or other programming language e.g., Python, C++).English language skills at business level (Read, Write, Speak).Preferred QualificationsBachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field.Speak, write, and read fluently in Japanese.Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.Experience working in a fast paced, quickly changing or international environment.Experience working on and delivering end to end projects independently.Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
