Business Controller - Compressor Technique Business Area Controller (Customert Center) 1Location: Cinisello BalsamoReporting to: General ManagerYou will play a key role in the control and guidance of Atlas Copco Italia Compressor Technique financial results, including reporting, forecasting and analysis. You will be responsible for complying with Atlas Copco policies as set forth in “The Way We Do Things,” and support and develop the organization and its resources in accordance with our growth plan. You will be part of the senior management. You are a collaborator who finds it easy to work with the other Department Heads to gather required information for reporting and control of the company results. You are naturally curious and seek out new information to support forecasting and analysis of results. You are timely and detail oriented in all your work.We are looking for a Business Controller to lead business control activities and support management with accurate analysis, digital tools, and strategic insights to drive sustainable, profitable, and inclusive growth.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Control, Strategic Planning & Risk ManagementLead financial planning and forecasting processes, ensuring strategic alignment and transparency.Develop analytical tools and risk indicators to support proactive decision‑making.Provide financial insights to optimize costs, allocate resources, and support growth initiatives.Identify risks and opportunities, raising flags when needed to protect performance.Digital Transformation & Business IntelligencePromote the use of digital tools to automate processes and enhance financial transparency.Develop BI dashboards and reports to support operational monitoring and decision‑making.Governance, Compliance & Internal ControlsEnsure accurate and timely financial reporting in line with IFRS and Group policies.Guarantee compliance with legal requirements and internal procedures.Strengthen internal controls and authorization frameworks (Prokura), ensuring audit‑readiness.Support the implementation and continuous improvement of financial systems and tools.RequirementsEducation & ExperienceUniversity degree in Finance or Economics.Minimum 10 years of experience in business control, finance, or administration, preferably in an international industrial environment.Strong knowledge of IFRS and local statutory regulations.Solid understanding of Italian accounting and tax compliance.Experience in audits and in internal control processes is a plus.Technical & Digital SkillsProficient in MS Office, especially Excel.Experience with ERP systems and BI tools (SAP, Power BI or similar).Strong digital competence and familiarity with automation and reporting tools.LanguagesGood command of English and Italian, both written and spoken.Soft Skills & Personal AttributesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and cross‑functional mindset.Proven leadership and hands‑on approach.Team‑oriented, with a focus on people development.Analytical, structured, and resilient, able to adapt to change.Innovative and solution‑oriented, with a continuous improvement mindset.High level of integrity, accuracy, and business acumen.Collaborative, open‑minded, and resourceful team player.What We OfferA strategic role at the heart of a growing and innovative company.A performance‑driven culture that values collaboration, commitment, and innovation.Opportunities for career development within the Atlas Copco Group, locally and internationally.Competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package.Flexible working arrangements to support work–life balance.A dynamic, respectful, and inclusive work environment where you can be yourself and make a difference.Uniting curious mindsBehind every innovative solution, there are people working together to transform the future.
