Data Center Application Engineer The Data Center Application Engineer serves as the link between data center infrastructure and Hitachi Energy’s specialized expertise in transformers. This role engages customers early in the sales cycle—prospecting and opportunity development—by providing technical and strategic insights that build mutual trust. Acting as the voice of the customer within the organization, the engineer communicates technical preferences, delivers training, and ensures proposed solutions align with market needs. Additionally, the position supports the implementation of the Product Group Transformers (PGTR) strategy, driving profitable growth and reinforcing Hitachi Energy’s position as a trusted partner in the Data Center segment.How You’ll Make An ImpactLead the regional Application Engineering activities & support Business Development activities related to Data Centers by understanding market trends and driving anticipated growth impact.Organize and conduct Customer Transformer Trainings (CTT’s), attend industry conferences, customer visits, provide specification influencing recommendations & reviews, and offer off‑cycle technical support to customer contacts.Conduct internal technical trainings, tender strategy & negotiation recommendations. Engage factory and tender engineering teams to develop and deploy trust, acceptance and team integration.Contribute to and follow the HUB market plan and collaborate closely with the HUB M&S,
