Milan Contract: Full Time, Permanent Salary: € 55,000 per annum Hours: 40 per week Thomas Franks is a founder‑led fresh food catering business focused on excellence, service delivered with individuality, passion and style. We value our clients and our people above all. We are looking for an Operations Manager who loves food and maintaining high quality standards. The role focuses on high‑calibre contracts with clients in Italy and surrounding regions, building strong relationships with clients, managers and team members. The successful candidate will support business development, deliver financial targets and leave a positive footprint every day. As Operations Manager you will have full accountability for the P&L, business development strategy and people management & development for the Operational Division in your area. You will employ a commercial focus delivering excellent customer service and outstanding food, building a positive and motivating culture. The role supports the Regional Director and covers an exclusive client base with exceptional and consistent standards. Candidate Requirements Passion and knowledge of contemporary fresh food and service Experience delivering exceptional senior‑management operations in a contract catering environment for senior clients with exceptional standards Strong ability to build professional relationships with internal and external individuals, service providers, suppliers and businesses Strong motivation with a lead‑by‑example approach Outstanding financial management skills – commercial and fixed price Appreciation of innovative marketing and merchandising skills deliverable by our Creativity Team HR best practice and retail skills Right to work permanently in Italy Must be able to undertake an enhanced DBS and provide references covering the full 5 years and overseas police checks Proven experience in compliance Excellent listening, written and verbal communication skills (in English) and ability to articulate and communicate effectively at all levels Knowledge of office management systems Outstanding organisational, analytical and time‑management skills, and ability to create effective processes and procedures; a team player who can also work autonomously and remotely Experience working in a multi‑site / mobile / remote capacity About Us Thomas Franks is a founder‑led fresh food catering business focused on excellence, service delivered with individuality, passion and style.
