Working at ST means shaping a better future through innovation and responsibility.POSTING PRESENTATION:You will play a key role in the SiC Technology volume ramp-up at ST, based in our new mass-production fab in Catania, Italy, dedicated to SiC substrate wafers. This facility is Europe's first of its kind for volume SiC epitaxial substrate production, integrating all production steps.There is a strong collaboration with STMicroelectronics Silicon Carbide AB in Norrköping, Sweden, offering opportunities for on-site training and collaboration. This center has been developing SiC technology for over 20 years.Your main responsibility will be to facilitate the transition from R&D to mass production, focusing on qualifying new measurement equipment and monitoring its performance in the production environment.Key Responsibilities: Lead the start-up of the new fab, coordinating equipment installation with suppliersQualify, accept, and monitor new tools; develop preventive maintenance schedulesMonitor tool performance and troubleshoot equipment faultsDevelop strategies to enhance process and equipment robustnessPerform Measurement System Analysis to ensure tool capabilityOptimize process and equipment performance to improve efficiency, quality, cost, and cycle timeLead the team to meet strategic objectivesProfile Required: PhD or Master’s degree in Engineering or related scientific fieldsExperience in silicon processing is advantageousAttention to detail and strong analytical skillsFluent in EnglishGood communication skills and team-orientedProactive, committed, and curiousThis employment opportunity is open to candidates of all genders, in accordance with Law n. 125 and Legislative Decree n. 198/2006, ensuring gender equality at work.#J-18808-Ljbffr
